High school program guides students into college-level rigor

For many, high school is a time to prepare for college. Hutchinson High School’s College 1-2-3 program aims to help students get an early start, and take it at the right pace.

“Adjusting our academic expectations from being a high school student to being a college student can be abrupt for teenagers,” said Hutchinson High School Principal Patrick Walsh. “Just because a student meets enrollment criteria does not necessarily mean that they are ready for full-time enrollment.” Read more.
