Work Continues at NCAPS
The process began several weeks ago to make room for construction on the new Nebraska Center for Advanced Professional Studies addition at Sandy Creek Public Schools. The NCAPS facility will represent two stories and 42,000 square feet of renovated and new space, and carries a cost of $10,000,000. The facility is funded through the use of the South Central Unified District’s special building fund and is expected to open October of 2018. Benefiting all students enrolled in the program from Sandy Creek and Lawrence-Nelson, the program allows students to earn 12 or more college credits during their junior and senior year of high school, which are paid for by the school district.
