CAPS Network Entrepreneur Panels
On Friday, September 16, 2016, in conjunction with the CAPS Network Hackathon, STL CAPS hosted a full day of panel discussions with local entrepreneurs. The event was held at the technology startup incubator in downtown St. Louis known as T-REX and included 125 high school students from 4 states. Students were able to tour the T-REX facility and interact with 13 business partners and companies that are part of the vibrant technology startup ecosystem in St. Louis. Most of the entrepreneur panelists have been awarded a $50,000 Arch Grant to assist the development of their business headquartered in St. Louis. There were also representatives from 6 higher education institutions from across Missouri that participated in a college readiness panel discussion.
